Technical Associate

Full-Time

Chapel Ridge Campus

The Technical Associate assists the Creative Director in various areas of ministry, including but not limited to:

  • Video production
  • Live sound
  • Graphic design
  • IT systems/computers

This position requires some flexibility in hours to accommodate special events that often arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technology/technical fields such as audio, video, graphic design, and IT/Computers is a plus, but not required
  • Technical aptitude is a must
  • A spirit of collaboration and service
  • Willingness to always be learning

Media Projects

As the need arises, the Technical Associate may be involved in the creation and/or post-production aspects of creative media projects such as video, audio, and graphic design.

Worship Services

The Technical Associate may be needed to serve in weekend services in any of these capacities (or others):

  • Camera Operator
  • Video Director
  • ProPresenter Operator
  • Lighting Operator
  • Audio Engineer

This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out after high school or college to get real, practical experience in a sophisticated technology environment. Accounting Assistant

Part-Time

Chapel Ridge Campus

Central Ministries is a multi-campus Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Everything we do is grounded in the person of Jesus and a Biblical worldview.  Central Ministries is a place where Love is found, and Truth is proclaimed.

Reporting

The Accounting Assistant will report to the Director of Finance and HR.  The Director of Finance and HR will perform an official yearly review.

Qualifications, Personal Qualities, And Skills

  • Strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Knowledge and experience of proper accounting procedures including payroll.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks Online preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e.. Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
  • Ability to receive and distribute large sums of money.
  • Ability to keep all financial and personnel information confidential is required.
  • Ability to work independently or with others.
  • Possess a servant’s heart and ministry team attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, and preparing weekly/monthly reports for the Church and The Perk Coffee House.
  • Assist in verifying the counting of the weekly offerings and deposit the offering in the appropriate bank accounts.
  • Keep an accurate record of each members’ contributions to the church, preparing each member’s statement at the end of the calendar year.
  • Assist in receiving all designated contributions (i.e. building fund, memorials, mission offerings, group trips, etc.) and recordkeeping of the funds according to the purpose for which they were received.
  • Record and maintain accounts payables.
  • Maintain file of invoices and reports.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and HR.

Work Expectation

  • 16 – 20 hours per week.
