Executive Pastor
Full-Time
Chapel Ridge Campus
Central Ministries has an immediate opening for an Executive Pastor. We are seeking an Executive Pastor who will work closely with Lead Pastor by leading staff and overall functions of the church.
The role of the Executive Pastor is needed due to the significant growth at Central Ministries. Along with the growth of new members, we are also experiencing the excitement of ongoing expansions of our main campus. We have an average weekly attendance of over 2,000 with a devoted and enthusiastic staff of 30+ employees for both campuses located in Leo, Indiana, and Fort Wayne.
Fort Wayne is the 2nd largest city in Indiana and the hub of Northeast Indiana. Fort Wayne has continued to receive awards and recognition in recent years including: #1 Best city to raise a family, Top 5 best city in the US to visit with kids, Lowest cost of living, Top 5 most affordable place to live in the US, Top 10 emerging housing market in the US….to name only a few.
Interested candidates should have experience and a track record in developing staff, strategic visioning, operational excellence and effectively working with lead pastors and leadership teams in a church environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provides support-partnership for Lead Pastor
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with Elder Board, Lead Pastor, and Leadership Team.
- Develops, implements, and maintains day-to-day policies, procedures, and practices for overall administrative functions.
- Leads and manages staff and ministries through visioning, goal-setting and personal growth, and development.
- Fosters an environment of excitement and cohesiveness in the overall church staff.
Qualifications:
- Possess a servant’s heart and ministry team attitude.
- Minimum of 10+ years of leadership and management experience including overseeing budgets, ministry and employee development preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Leadership and team development experience.
- Demonstrated strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
- High level of communication and emotional intelligence skills.
- Strategic visioning and planning experience.

Leo Campus Youth Pastor

If you are looking for an opportunity to lead a great group of volunteers and create life-changing experiences for students, this is an opportunity for you to consider. Some responsibilities include:
- Lead gatherings that spiritually challenge students and attract students who are not followers of Jesus.
- Recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders who love to disciple students and do life alongside students.
- Recruit, train, and equip student leaders to understand and live God’s calling.
- Assist with middle/high school events/activities at the Chapel Ridge Campus.
Qualifications
- Possesses a testimony that demonstrates the power of God’s grace and redemption
- Passion for teaching God’s Word and discipleship
- Loves people
- Relational skills for middle school students, high school students, and adults
- Healthy relationship development with volunteers, staff, teens, and parents
- Leads volunteer recruitment and ministry planning
- Welcomes growth and accountability and has a history of healthy conflict resolution
- Organization and administrative skills
- Adaptable – able to take on additional responsibilities of a small campus
- Beliefs align with Central’s mission, vision, strategy, and doctrine
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and desire to work in full-time ministry
